Bought this vintage can opener for $2.00 last weekend in Bradford, Pa.  I don't think they make even the all metal ones anymore.  As a kid we had the cheaper [all metal] model with just the canning lid lifter and condensed milk/can opener.  Have no idea what the other point is for (see ? arrow).  Some of you old timers who are older than me might be able to tell me what that second point is for.
