It's 2011 and spring has sprung, well kind of, depending on where you live, and your heart turns to Knife Shows from now till year end. Soooo......

Are you going? If you are buying will you buy? If your selling are you expecting a good year?

Yes, but south Louisiana has only Gun and Knife shows that are not too much. I wish we could have a real Knife Show with some real knife makers. We have never had one. Something for you knife makers to think about.

Hi Hog good question . I don't think I could list all the Gun & Knife show that I attend every year or the Knife shows I will be at. As far as buying & selling I could not go with out buying selling & trading . I think I like the trading the best . It's always fun see who will get the best deal face to face. Keep up the good work

i will do 45 -48 shows this year. next week im in tulsa, then dallas then houston, etc, etc. i love talking to the folks and getting there opinions of what they like and dont like about knife designs. headed to a show this am in mesquite,texas! i sell mostly and i would like to see a good year, but i buy when a bargain comes along.

Thanks Gary, I know you do a lot of shows and what I'm trying to get a feel for is what % of our members will attend a show as buyer OR seller. I believe quite a few of our members attend or participate in at least one show per year.

It is my dream to attend the Blade Show in Atlanta. I had planned to go this year for the first time but yet another conflict with work. I will make it to one of these soon. I can only imagine how cool it would be to interact with so many great knife enthusiast and makers. Please share all the fun after the show for all who go. Don't forget the pictures as well.
