Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Hello Fellas, I am a Benchmade Collector and this is my first forum. I am looking to fill the empty spots in my Gold collection and am looking for some specifics,  the 3300-81 and the 690-101. I do have two of numerous Benchmade products including Golds so please feel free to offer trade as well, and don't be afraid to ask if I something or not I will surprise you. In addition I frequent the Benchmade Factory Store about once a month so I have some numbered prototypes as well. If anyone has missed the Gold 42 Bus coming out, I have managed to put my name on 2 of them so 1 will be available for trade when I get them upon release.

Hello Russ,

Sounds like you've been bitten by the Butterfly. Congrats you have company! If you haven't already been there, many of us spend time on the Benchmade Forums as well as here: http://benchmadeforum.com/eve/forums

It would be really cool to see some pics of your knives, I use PhotoBucket.com for my uploads and it's a free service for storing and sharing your photos...makes it really easy to share your collection.

I am envious of your access to the factory store,  to me that would be a dream come true. I've heard some amazing stories, and they even accept dropoffs for sharpening. That's very hard to beat!

Looking forward to more from you, welcome!

Cheers,

Joe

Joe, Thanks for the warm welcome. I signed up on the Benchmade Forum as well. I frequent the Benchmade website nearly daily and had no idea the forums were connected. I will be posting some pictures, I have only had insurance photos taken so I will need to do group shots to post. Thats no problem I enjoy going through them so be on the look out.

You definitely need to visit the Benchmade Factory, I called a few weeks in advance for a tour and my wife and I were given a private tour. The Benchmade people were outstanding. I could not have had a better experience. From the receptionist to the floor sweeper, everyone was a professional. The facility was spotless and extremely well organized as well, Les de Axis has his collective "s*#t" together, that is for sure. I have been buying Benchmades for well over ten years and have yet to have one questionable experience with quality or customer service. Hands down the best product experience of anything I have ever owned all the way around. Wish they build houses and made cars.

Hi Russ,

Thanks for your reply - as far as these two sites being connected I'd guess THE thing that does is our passion for our Benchmades.

I hope to one day get up to Oregon City. I get the feeling I'm far from the only one that considers that trip to be a 'pilgrimage' of sorts. (;-)

And yeah their CS department is the 'tops'.

Cheers,

Joe
