How many Seahorses do you have JJ? Do you have a favorite handle? I like that bone one at the top too....the bone has an antique look.

Got around 30, Craig, though I do have many of the same handles.

I always considered them "tools".  It was only after I needed a spare, that I started collecting.   Certain colors appeal to one or the other girls.  The duplicates are to keep them peaceable after I'm gone.

While I love the stag and bone stag handles, I think that my favorite is the "Autumn Bone".

The one pictured at the top is a Chestnut Bone w/ peach seed jigging...

30? Wow. Gee, that one looks great too.  Don't know which one I like better. That Autumn Bone looks nice and firey though!

I'm going to have to get one. Thanks for the photo JJ! Or maybe I shouldn't thank you! LOL!

Each of my autumn bone knives look different, due to the varying degree of black/orange coloration.  It's not fancy like stag, but it is a beautiful color.

Well you know, I LOVE stag, but sometimes I think my heart belongs to bone handles. As an old knife guy I knew used to always say, "You can't beat good bone handles on a knife".

6.5 Bone-Stag,  Best of both worlds, Craig.

Now that's just plain purty! I wish they'd do that again!

Last 2 Seahorses I've been able to find, Craig, were an Autumn Bone and a Bone-Stag.

Just had to dig this back up to show off what the mailman brung me,  This is a very nice knife.  The whisper thin pen and coping blades are great for fine detail, and the wharncliffe speaks for itself.

Definately have a winner, Paul.

Great looking Seahorse Paul!

Do I get a finder's fee?

I can send you a bill.....
