Now, a new chapter has begun for Ryan and Courtney Daniels. "Daniels Family Knife Brands" is offering the exiting new Excelsior Knife Company line of knives directly crafted by the knife makers that also design them.
They also are continuing the very popular Tuna Valley Cutlery Co. knife brand, marketed towards the contemporary collector.
Thanks to everyone for all their support over the years, and we hope to talk with you in person at one of the many knife shows we attend throughout the year! We have many projects on the horizon, and hope you check here often to see what is coming next.

Tom, I had to be approved too before I could join. I initially left 2 fields with very little info which was an issue. Perhaps they need to revisit their profiles before going through?
I wish I could join twice!
I'm a little curious as to whywe haven't reached 100 members yet? I have invited several folks - at least a half a dozen that don't show up as members. They have told me that they have tried to join but were waiting on approval. I'm thinking that they are waiting on approval to join iKC first and then approval to be a Daniels Family Knives group member. Could today be the big day??!!! Pretty exciting!!!
Dana,
There you go!
Dana,
Welcome to the Daniels Family Knives group! I think that your GEC stag #36 is very nice! One side might have got burnt a bit more than the other IMO. Still is a handsome knife! Thanks for posting pics.
Hi Tom, Thanks for the tip. I'd like to get some opinions about this Northfield #36 Stag that I just received. The handles are very different shades. What do you think?Dark%20Front.JPG Light%20back.JPG
Hi Ryan,
I know that you are a busy guy with lots of knife shows, getting Tuna Valley Cutlery up and running and the like but you need to put a more impressive graphic for this group to attract even more members my friend. The label off of the Tuna Valley Amber Stag tube or a picture of the Amber Stag lockback itself would do just fine (unless you have something even more impressive and exciting in the works). When you see the Daniels Family Knives group graphic next to all of the others it looks kind of tiny & it's hard to tell what it is. I know that it may not be Priority #1 right now but the current graphic on iKC comes up short for such a promising company that will be making some of the best knives out there! Just giving you grief Ryan. I can't wait to see the awesome knives that will be coming from you all at Daniels Family Knives and Tuna Valley Cutlery!!!
Looks stunning. Good luck to all!
Ryan, that is a stunning looking knife. Good luck to all (but most to me I hope ;-))
