Jan, I'd love to hear how he likes it. I don't know if that blade would be the best for my chores, but I'd still like to hear how it preforms. Since we're on the subject of EDC, what were you guys packing at the show?

Thanks

73  2 blade Rams Horn

54  GEC 2 blade burl walnut

Thats is what he carried to the show, both dressed in leather by our own Desert Hermit.  Haven't had a chance to use the new one yet but will let you know.  I will tell you that it open and closes with snap but like a dream.

Here is his RH...I had posed the question somewhere else...This scales in his hand with the RH are buffalo bark.  What do you all think.  Could we get GEC to build us one with this?

I have faith in GEC, and I think that would be an awesome knife. Great knives to be EDCing too, I think we could get along perfectly. I like to EDC a Northfield #73L with buffalo horn scales for special occasions, I can see that Rams horn is a perfect all around knife.

What do you EDC Jan?

I have a 66 Beavertail that was gifted to me by a friend.  I have two - one is a proto and one a production so I carry the production

Awesome knife Jan, theres something really special about those shields. I just started seriously carrying my #53 Beavertail Furtaker Trapper, I'm hoping to get a good patina going.

Once again great knife, and thanks for everything.

It was like we were with you guys, and GEC.

Johnny,

How is that as a user.  Donnie loves his.  I took a pic of the fixed blade display while I was there

Jan, it's been a great EDC, and I love the blade configuration. I'm hoping to get a good used, worn look out of it. It's my only EDC as of right now, so it has to do all the cutting chores. Those bolsters aren't easy to dull you know, but once I get that patina going, it's all good. With just a few days of EDC under it's belt, I can see why Donnie loves his. :)

Thanks for the fixed blade pics, they look great, but I must not fall in love. There are to many GECs and not enough coin to go around. Thanks again
