The newest Wounded Warrior proect will be starting the end of this week.  This is just a heads up on an extremely unique peice.  Please read all the way through.  I will let you know when the bidding has begun just as soon as I know. 

Just a word of my own here.  Thank you to everyone that assists with these auctions, even if you are just spreading the word.  The folks that are the recipients of these proceeds are well deserving.

How about a little Christmas in January?????

I hope you're not getting bored with the Prototypes and the older knives I've been posting this week.   But just in case you are, lets break up the routine a bit.  In 2009, there was a special run of just 16 unserialized #362209 Sunfish made called "Christmas Wishes".  They were unique in that they had a really old time look about them with an acrylic covered picture of Santa Claus holding what appears to be a GEC knife ready to go in some lucky souls Christmas stocking.   On the left side was the message:  "Best Christmas wishes from Great Eastern Cutlery". 





I've been thinking about what to do with this knife.  I knew if I put it in the store, there were gonna be a whole bunch of you mad that I didn't tell you about it first, etc, etc.  Then, I thought about just giving it away,..... but then it hit me, what a perfect knife to offer for auction to raise a few bucks for my favorite charity, The Wounded Warrior Project.  If anyone deserves a little Christmas all year long, they're definitely a deserving group.

For now, think about how deep you're willing to dig into your stash to own this gem of a collectible.    Bribes won't work so don't even think about it.  Either Friday or Saturday I'll get a post put up and we'll get the bidding started.  DON'T POST A BID YET!!  It won't be recorded!!!  Just hang on, put the word out and I'll kick things off in a day or two.
