Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

My dog Sioux.  We adopted her in April when she was rescued from the home of a hoarder along with about 20 other dogs.  She has settled in very well and is a very happy dog although she will probably always be a little skittish.  And she still has some survival instincts like stealing my sandwich off of my plate and running away.  She is very protective of me.  It is so sweet the way she jumps up on the couch and looks at me with those big brown eyes and scratched at my arm to pet her.  That's a long way from her running away from everyone just 7 or 8 months ago.  She is the best dog in the world.

Dale,

How did you manage these get these 4 critters all lined up at the top of the stairs? I'm sure a substantial bribe was involved?

And, I'm with you -- I like dogs much better than humans! But, then again, I was born in the "Year of the Dog" in the Chinese calendar and I was raised by wolves. Woof!

Tell your dogs I said, "Howdy!"

Not Border Collie, part English Springer Spaniel and part sneaky little bugger. She has great hunting instincts and will stop and point like a Pointer at a bird in the brush, but she would be terribly gun shy. She really freaked out on the 4th of July. She is named after the best hunting dog we ever had when I was growing up. The original Sioux could work a corn field all by herself with 4 - 6 hunters behind her. Springers are the greatest dogs ever.

Bet you don't need a burglar alarm with that crew standing guard !! Thanks for adopting Sioux--Too many go unwanted and unloved- SHE LOOKS LIKE A GREAT PUP !!

Some great pics there! Sioux is a great looking dog and Dale that pic of them lined up is priceless!

Great Pic's....how did you get them to pose for their pic...all 4 of them?
