My Gerber Crevice and my Myerchin P300 Sailor's tool.  I guess some will question the P300 being classed as a Tactical, but let's take a look.  Both the spine and the blade can be opened with one hand and locks in place with a liner lock  The "Sheep's Head" blade is a new take on the old sheepfoot being a morphing of the sheepfoot, hawkbill, and Wharncliffe and while being purposed for cutting line, you can imagine what it could do as a self-defense weapon.

The flat slab sides are aircraft aluminum and it has a pocket clip, just like many SARs.   And when you consider I bought the Crevice to be used as a rope knife, well it just seems the two knives blur the lines.

Could it be used as a Karambit in a pinch?  Probably.

CRKT M4-02.  The Tactical that changed Donnies mind about Tacticals.

This tactical with a more traditional look and feel has seriously made an impression on Donnie.  A constant pocket companion, it has proven itself to be one heck of a knife.  Sharp when we received it, this knife has done a litany of chores.  From cutting boxes to everyday chores around the house with no retouch on the blades.  Great steel, the fit and finish is flawless, the size and weight are perfect for everyday carry.  On the weekend he spends 2 12 hour days around constant salt water and this knife has held up well.  He removed the clip to make carrying in the pocket a little easier, the bone scales are starting to take on a pocket carried hue.  This knife has earned its spot as the weekend everyday carry.

The no frills Boker-Magnum "Groovy"  It has G10 scales and a Titanium coated 440 Stainless blade.  I think the bearings are teflon coated.  Either way it opens fast and easy with a simple flick.  Very nice for a $10-15.

I like that style, not too fond of G10 but it has become evolved since it was only ugly orange.  This green is a great color.  Tobias have you used the Magnum?  I am considering one for my son but dont know about blade quality

I have that one, Toby. I haven't used it to see how good the blade is. I couldn't resist buying it for the price point I bought it at. We probably bought it from the same place.

Billy, We probably did get it from the same place, if it involved $5 flat rate shipping.  

Jan, so far about the only thing it has cut up is a some cardboard. and it did that with flying colors straight from the box.  I've only had it for about a month or so and as I've got a couple hundred knives and ne real need to make this one an every day carry, it could very well never cut anything else again.  It feels good in the hand, it opens and closes extremely smooth.   I'd say it is better than the Taylor brands such a S&W or U.S. Army and compares well the my Gerber two Gerber Gator.   Well wroth the $10 I paid for it.
