We had a fairly successful fishing trip. We caught 4 dozen blue point crabs, 1 red fish and a few shirmp. We gonna have us a boil tonight. yoweeeeee! I'll post some pictures later if I have time. Everyone had a great time, they are already talking about going back.
I'm heading to the salt marhes of Louisiana by the gulf and taking the girls and their bo's crabing and red fish, fishing. Last year we went and caught a bunch, we had alot fun, came home and had a big crab boil. I'll take a bunch of pictures to share with ya'll.
Congrats Johnny, I know it will be a sweet retreat for you for years to come. Cant wait to see the pics and the lawn chair trick sounds like an awesome way to spend a summer day
Robert, the plan is to wade out with lawn chairs and to fish on a hot summers night. We already used kayaks to get out there and it was easy as could be.
Hey guys, my buddy just bought a camp and I should have a ton of pics in and around it this year. We spent all day there yesterday, but it was for clean up and prep. It was looking pretty primitive and needed whipped into shape, it looks great now and will prove to be an awesome getaway. It's right on the Allegany and it looks like the fishing will be good.
The problem is you have to wade out through about thirty yards of shallow water and mud, but once you get out a third of the way across the water, there is a huge hole.
We saw a bold eagle when we first got there, but no camera as it was a work day. Next time I'm there, pics pill follow.
Oh Herb, enter your fishing pictures in the contest above, they must be in that discussion.
Great camp Herb, we use to camp like that years ago. We wrapped the outside with a tarp.
Boy, that GEC looks right at home.
Great catch and keep it up.
Some things have come up and our fishing trip has been delayed. Hopefully once things settle down, we'll get out there.
