What makes it so neat, is that each night a member [ great Cajun Cook ], cooks super and try's to out do the rest of the guys and gals, for that nights super. We end up with such great dishes. They usually have the leftovers for lunch the next day. I try to eat a sandwich instead, I gain too much weight the other way. One great meal a day is enough, for me.
Robert, all I can say is WOW - Lucky
im ready to move to louisiana.
Thanks, I promise to post more hunting pictures. Well some might just be pictures of the great outdoors. They will all be from the swamps of south Louisiana.
We are finalizing plans right now for the next trip. We leave tomorrow and come back Sunday. Friday night we are having fried fish and frog legs with fish gravy on rice. It's rough, but somebody has to do it.
Love the hunting pics ,Robert.
Thanks, guys. I will post a recipe for ya'll soon. I am working on one that will work for almost every type of meat or seafood. People, don't realize, there is two types of Gumbo. Creole and Cajun....there's a big difference. They are both very good.

I own 15 acres of land and 9 of them are woods. In the woods, I have 8 squirrel and wildlife feeders, I fill up every 3 days. We have a rule no one shoots, the wildlife. It's a sanctuary, sort of. Sometimes, a rabbit just won't understand to stay out of our fenced garden, even after several attempts, to discourage him. We then have to do him end. We don't wastes him though, yum, yum Gumbo.
all those squirrlels make me hungry.
