I had a Q last night that didn't get answered - maybe someone here can answer it. What is the 3 top best selling patterns for Queen??    One answer was the 3L - then Jan thought the Mountain Man, what else??   Anyone have pics of these 3 top patterns.?

Ryan, thanks so much for the response. Pics are great. I am going to look into the Mountain Man. Thanks again.

Thanks for answering my question Ryan. This is a great line and I'd hate to see it whither on the vine.

Bill,

The Premier Line is an exclusivity for C. Risner Cutlery and he has somethings in mind but hasn't pulled the trigger. I don't think he is done with it I just think he hasn't found the right pattern yet.

I'm not going to be able to participate tonite but I'd sure appreciate it if someone would ask about the Premier line and whether we can expect a new offering and when.  Also can someone tell me if these chats are archived so that they can be read later?

Sounds good

Dont forget to join us this WED night

Our next conversation with Queen will be June 11, 2014 at 9PM eastern.

POST YOUR FAVORITE QUEEN STORY HERE!!!!  THIS WILL BE A PART OF OUR CONTEST FOR THAT NIGHT!

A few years back I was on Vacation in TN. Knowing that I could not pass by the Big Blue roof (SMKW) while driving through Sevierville, I decided to pick out one knife that I couldn't resist. After looking for several hours, I settled on a Queen Copperhead. It was great looking knife, made in the USA and my first Queen knife. I was very happy with my choice and couldn't wait to show it off. Recently, I was talking with a friend. We decided to do some knife trading. I usually don't bring up my favorite knives when I am going to make a trade. This particular time I felt the need to offer up the trade. I had by now acquired my second Queen knife (my iKC Queen knife). The deal was made and I decided to let my Queen Copperhead go to Brazil. I am honored to know that the very first Queen Cutlery knife I owned, is now in the hands of my great Brazilian friend Cesar.

I and my my middle brother are both avid knife collectors- My oldest brother (the red headed stepchild, LOL) is an avid collector of vintage guns and fishing tackle, but, alas, not knives- However, his son is also a knife collector- Hence, the stepchild reference-ROFL- However, my oldest brother IS an enabler that feeds my addiction- Back in 2008 he came across a vintage Queen fixed blade he found at a flea market in Arkansas that was being sold by a friend of his- Emailed me a pic and asked if I wanted it- Of course, I said yes, and it became my first Queen knife ( but not my last, by any means)  An almost mint 1950's #73 Winterbottom bone fixed blade with sheath for $50-Judging from the drastic difference in color of the bone between front and obverse, was probably a board(display) knife- Still goes fishing and camping with me- Been a Queen lover ever since !!

Anybody know if Queen's shields are pinned like G.E.'s are?

Not sure Brian but glad to have you back on forum, missed you.

Brian we can find out
