I'm not sure about the maker of this one. The tang mark looks etched rather than stamped. It is a very knice and well made knife though.

Nice Stockman! It appears to be very similar to a "Stockman's Friend" that was produced by Joseph Rodgers Cutlers to his Majesty in Sheffield, England. Same shield. It's definitely a Sheffield, though.

Okay went through the knife rolls and these are what I found to be in the "Stockman" pattern.

Another Western.

Hen & Rooster, the medallion fell out, didn't notice, couldn't find it.

That sure is a sweet looking Cattle knife you've got there, Craig! That "rough black composition" material was used a lot during WWII because of a shortage of bone. Would I be correct in assuming that this knife was made somewhere around that period in time?
