The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
I was able to add a PAL RH-36 to my little collection recently. The sheath is original but a bit rough. The knife itself was in decent condition once I was able to clean it up a little bit. No significant dings on the pommel, a near full blade (measures ≈ 6-3/32" from the guard), and the leather disc handle is in good condition).
From various features, I believe that this is from March 1941 to mid 1943, but I am admittedly not as versed in the PAL products as some of the other knives and bayonets that I have at the moment.
If I am correct, this was almost certainly carried by one of our servicemen.

How in the world did I miss not joining this group sooner? Sheesh...I am well behind my time here....
So Kevin - great find! You have several PAL knives now don't you? What a great add to the collection.
Always good to hear from you Lars!
Actually, this is my first PAL knife. I have almost made a point of avoiding them before now.
Of the ones that could be associated with PAL...
Most of the PAL knives that I had seen in the past were post-war and I really was not very interested in those. But perhaps I need to not discount a knife strictly because it was made by a particular company.
