The community is invited to come on down to the Diner & General Store. Take a chair on the porch and sit a spell. Visit with your neighbors and see what's going on in town.
I think next week I can get some help to move the furniture in, so maybe next week. Not bad for an old cripple Paw paw.lol...She said if you click on the picture it gets full size. The cottage is 32 feet inside and a 4 foot porch. I have a Fedders heat/cool unit in it, for comfort.
We all bring two dishes to the dinner. I ussualy bring deer roast and green bean casarole. This year, I am bringing wild pork roast instead. Them city slicers better eat it...lol
The tradition around here is that right after dinner that all the deer hunter take off for their hunting destinations. It's the biggest deer hunting weekend of the year. It is wild, the highways are filled up with hunters. The public hunting grounds are full and the private areas are just the same. I am so lucky to be going to a private, fenened in exotic hunting ranch for opening weekend.
I just want to say that the hunting ranch is 1500 acres fenced in, I didn't want anyone to think it was in a pen or something. God bless have a great Holiday.
Well that was the last of the Thanksgiving Dinner (what didn't go in the freezer). So whats for dinner tomorrow JJ? Roberts out on the hunt so he cant help me figure it out. TAG YOUR IT!!!
We love Chow Chow too. This is a little less thick and is more of a Hot pickle relish. You should try it Robert. Are both girls going to be in the cottage Robert?
No, the youngest one will stay with us in the house. The cotage is just across the yard so I'm sure they will get together alot. When I built my house, I made it a two bed room with large rooms. I had no idea I would be raising two grand childern. This just lets us spread out a little...lol
We may neglected to mention.....while you were off on your trip we took a vote and repurposed your new cabin. We certainly hope you enjoy it as much as we have
