My my! Would you look at that fancy ringed n' dimpled bolster! And then those long pulls on not just the Master but the Pen blade as well! And, is that an 03 I spy on that gussied-up bolster?
That Pemberton pup sure sports a proud profile! I hope it serves you well for many years to come, my dear friend!
Wow great Bob, I love to see a man [or women] enjoy a knife that much. I think you have choosen a great pattern and a great brand. I know you won't be disapointed. I can't wait for your review, I have popcorn ready...LOL
Actuall, I was surprised how well the Stag Handles worked on these little guys. Sometimes,on a very small knife, the Stag Slabs have very little figure because of their small size. And sometimes,to get some figure, the slabs are left bulky like Bob refers to. But on the Pemberton's I've seen and handled,it was like the Stag Slabs were taken from little tiny deer. They had very nice figure and were well proportioned to the knife, not left all blocky and bulky. This whole run of knives were just right! A Fine job by GEC!
Wow, I see, thanks David. It sounds like a place down in New Orleans, it was so bad, if you didn't have a knife when you got there, they'd give you one.
Babylon Hill is a summit (or hill) in Tidioute, Pennsylvania. It forms the west border of the Allegheny National Forest. The rest of it David shared LOL
Chris and Billy were kind enough to allow us a first look at the Blade Show knives and they are SWEET. The 06 Pemberton is available in both interior and exterior Ivory. This is the first time I have held the Pemberton, I like the size and in Ivory it is beautiful. The Swing guard is making its debut available in CheChen Rose and Kingwood for the show
Hey now, what's up with the Rendezvous, knife this year. We had a few guess and a few opinions but we need to find out what GEC collectors think it will be.

Babylon Hill was the house of ill repute once owned by Ben Hogan and Kate LeCounte (French Kate). It was on a hill outside Tidioute.
