    My Benchmade knives.

  • Billy Oneale

Those are nice Jeremi. I have one of the Pika II that you have in the middle.

  • Joe Karp

I like the 910S to the right. I've always been a fan of Tanto blades...here's a pic of my selection:

Nice selection Jeremy, the JuJu is a hard to find knife.

  • Jeremi Lett

Thanx guys.i am pleased w all of them.joe it seems u have a couple Strykers. That 910s i own has saved my life once.

  • Joe Karp

Thanks Jeremy, the CE Stryker's a 910SCG, very rare. If your life was in jeopardy again I'd toss this one at you in a heartbeat. Have a good one!

hi i found this knife on ebay and was hopeing to get confirmation on wether this is infact a real benchmade or if its a fake, i have never seen a benchmade with the brand stamped on the handle, anyone know

  • Joe Karp

    Hi Bjorn,

That's not real, it's a Chinese facsimile. Benchmade did not make that knife. Hope it didn't cost you much ca$h.

    Joe

  • björn thompson

thanks for the info joe, i didnt buy it yet, just bid on it, and the swedish ebay i can just let them know its fake and i wont have to buy it even if i win.

    thanks for the quick response

    björn

  • björn thompson

i thought 20 bucks for a benchmade was to good to be true :-)

  • Joe Karp

Good news Bjorn. I suggest folks that favor Benchmades spend a little time on their site, and get to know the products; and any time you and I see a knife advertised as a Benchmade for $20 it's too good to be true. Even the beat up originals go for more than that.

    Cheers,

    Joe

  • björn thompson

yes, i have been on their site for a few days just checking them out,and been on youtube aswell trying to get all the inffo i can. but its hard. and i am trying to figure out when people talk about blue black and gold boxes. i figure the boxes are those colors but are their in different bracket to? hopeing to get my hands on my first benchmade beginning on this week, a mini grip

  • Joe Karp

Bjorn; it is hard to learn about Benchmades sometimes. What I will suggest is  going to the the company site: www.Benchmadeforum.com and sign in, there is a lot to learn and as nice a bunch of people as are here on Knifecollector, only more dedicated to that brand.

  • björn thompson

joe: gotta check that out, thanks for the tip

  • björn thompson

just got my first blue box today. a benchmade 556 mini griptilian, absolutely adore the knife! although having XL sized hands it was a bit on the small side, i hope there is a regular griptilian in my future. benchmade by the looks of things have great quality control, blade centering is spot on, no blemishes anywhere and fit is finish is excelent. starting to love benchmade:-)

  • Chris Stookey

  • Frank yanez

Good Luck Bjorn May your benchmade collection be many. Here is my benchmade part of my collection. What do you think?

  • Jan Carter

Does Benchmade make a knife that would be good for the article?

    http://www.iknifecollector.com/forum/topics/you-choose-the-tactical...

  • Joe Karp

Hi Frank, that collection, including the PCC/Sampson models is anyone's version of a prize.  Very Nice!

  • Frank yanez

Thank you joe for the kind words.

  • Jim Lucier

    got it!

  • Billy Oneale

    Nice one, James.
  • Billy Oneale

Frank, your collection has me drooling. Very nice collection that you have there.
  • Brad T.

I am loving my new 810. So much so it has made me put the 760BK back in the Brag Bag

  • Brad T.

Picking up my 940-121 on the 9/6.  Would like a 530-111 Pardue, I'll keep looking.

  • Joe Karp

I would also love to see the 530-111, if that's what it's called. I still own my first BKC product, a 530 in 440C and carry it regularly still.

  • Brad T.

530-111 Pardue GoldClass - Damasteel Blade and Carbon fiber scales..mmmm a nice Modern dress knife. Would go well with my business attire.

  • Brad T.

Well I have both of the 940-121 & the 530-111. The 530-111 is definitely a dress knife, jeweled thumb and Axis studs. The 940-121 is still going to see some pocket time, just after I change out of the slacks and button down after work.

  • Russ Brown

I am selling my duplicate Gold Class Benchmades. All NEW and have never left the safe they are in now.

    Pictures available upon emailed request.

    email me russ@ammoonly.com

  • Connor flanagan

In you guys opinion what's the top three benchmades made.
  • Joe Karp

Among the current line: I would offer the 710 McHenry, 581 and 470 Osborne models.

  • Brad T.

810 Osborne CONTEGO, 710 McHenry & Williams and the 581 Barrage. In that order.

To comment on the previous selections. I find the Adamas un-weildly due to the size & weight. The Emissary would be nice, but the price compared to size and materials used don't equal out for me.

  • Russ Brown

I have two GOLD Benchmade left to sell. The 42-101 for $1300 & 1000-101 $900

Out the door includes shipping prefer PAYPAL.

The world of knives lost a class act when knifemaker Stephen John “Steve” Fecas passed away Feb. 1. He was 66.

A long-time member of the Knifemakers’ Guild and one of the original members of the South Carolina Association of Knifemakers (SCAK), Steve operated out of Anderson, South Carolina. He sold his first knife in 1977 and started making knives full time in 1980. One of the many disciples of Blade Magazine Cutlery Hall-Of-Fame© member George Herron, Steve made tight, clean folders in the stock-removal style and also designed knives for Benchmade.

A Vietnam War-era veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Steve was easy going and always had a joke or kind word to impart in his deep South Carolinian drawl. He and Blade Magazine Cutlery Hall-Of-Fame© member Frank Centofante were good friends and often were seen hanging out together at knife shows.

If anyone is interested(active duty, retirees, and dependants), Benchmade Rep's are ser up in the Fort Hood clothing and sales. They are offering 20% discounts and free laser engraving on the spot until tomorrow. I got a new Pika II engraved yesterday and will get my Auto Stryker laser engraved today.
  • Johnathan Flores

I would like to thank Mr. Tom Holcomb (the southern Benchmade military representative) for being so helpful with a recent custom order Griptillian knife; and for providing service members of the Ft Hood area an opportunity for free laser engraving on any Benchmade product.

Whats new on the Benchmade offering ?

Well thats always a big question with Benchmade

We get our leading edge orders in bulk this time of year, this is a program for dealers that Bnechmade ships a predetermined amount of each new model to them automatically and ahead of regular stocking orders. Dealers in this Program get for example 5 First production run New knives of a particular model. Each one lazer etched with "First Production Run 35 of 500 printed on the reverse side of the blade. The box is also marked to reflect this as well.

  • Jan Carter

    Terry,

I am selling a BenchMade BenchMite, model 3100-401, #41 of 500, rainbow stainless scales, 1.95" blade, spring assisted. Never carried, stored in box with paperwork. Asking $320 or would like to trade for Spyderco Rubicon. Can email pictures on request. Thank you.

The Griptilian is joining the Spyderco Para Military 2, Kershaw Skyline, and the Benchmade 51 as a platform for the company’s premium handle scale offerings. Mini Griptilian scales are also under consideration, and Flytanium-branded knives are in development.
