Hamburgers tonight! Yay!

First day of Summer! Days (Daylight) start getting shorter now.....it'll be Christmas before we know it.

I had grilled hamburgers tonight.

Hamburgers were cancelled. Fried Chicken and Macaroni and Cheese

Miss Sue, that's a new twist. I'd probably end up with pop corn.  lol  I cheated last night, I took my youngest Grand daughter and her boy friend out to eat at a Seafood Restaurant . Wow, so good. We were in the little town of Port Barre. It's not too far from here, about 5 miles.

Ham and Swiss on buns.

I love that Craig. I love Ham and almost every kind of cheese. The more stinky, the better. Swiss cheese is high on my list. I'm gonna do some hamburgers, later and plan on adding some kind of cheese, on them, when ready.

LOL! I love cheese too (and Ham). I guess that means we're cheese-heads?

We had store bought pizza last night. Some times we gotta see how the city folks eat..lol Tonight the girls want me to cook them a "rabbit and squirrel Gumbo. I think my youngest could eat Gumbo everyday...lol

Robert, do you have a gumbo recipe to share....for us city folks? LOL!

Baked Pineapple chicken with garlic & herbs mashed potatos. Herb never showed up so we ate his share!

You bet Craig. I had started a recipe discussion in this group about a year ago. We'll have to get it going again.

Hey Robert, what do you think of the Zatarain's brand of stuff for store bought Cajun food? We eat their stuff sometimes.

That is a great brand, that helps show of Louisiana cooking. I use it all the time.

Cool! We always liked the Zatarain's stuff.

It was chicken & gravy over rice for dinner last night.

We cheated today.  The local BK had cheeseburgers on sale for 50 cents.  We got a bag full.  LOL.

I trying to get a Rabbit Gumbo going, and I see everyone's on "Main Room", waiting for Knives Live. Maybe, someone from SMKW could come help, so I could watch the show?......lol

We had this tonight along with fresh dug potatoes, yellow squash, baby carrots cooked together in aluminum on the grill.believe it or not, these 2 ribeyes fed all 5 of us.

Veggie night.  Okra, corn on the cob and cantaloupe 

We're making a Pork Fricasse' and Purple Hull Peas on rice....Yum..Yum...

Pork! I can't get enough Pork! I think my favorite meat.

Last night I had BBQ baby back ribs and baked beans.

I'm in the mood for a Pig Pickin'!

........but had leftover Pizza. It was either that or "I have no idea".

I had leftover ribs for supper.  That is unusual because there usually are no leftover ribs at my house!  But I must admit we did fix quite a few.
