They look good too Sunil !

I like that they are offering choices from modern to traditional

  • John Passmore

I like knives big and small.  My pick is a Buck 446 - GOLIATH.  It fits the hand nicely and is not too heavy to carry. I have not met a Buck who I did not like.

Buck fans, and anyone else interested in knife making in general might like this. I had an email from Buck about their July 4th American series 110 folder. On the knife specific page are some photos, and I noticed a link to a cool short video showing part of their manufacturing process

That is a nice looking knife!

  • Sunil Ram

  • Don Martinez

  • Sunil Ram

Nice photo Don. I have the top two 110s also.

  • George Clarkson

can anyone shed some light on this 110, I have asked Buck for information who did reply then nothing at all,  thanks in advance, George

  • Sunil Ram

The upside-down T means it was produced in 2004. I can't seem to find it in the 2004 catalog. Tried other years catalogs and still nothing. I wonder if it was made for Cabelas or something exclusive. Baffling! 2004 & 2005 were the "transition years". 2004 being last year produced in CA and 2005 first year in Idaho.

  • Sunil Ram

Buck also made exclusives for Smoky Mountain Knife Works during that time but I don't recall them having a Gold Etch Bears like that. I was purchasing several exclusives during 2004-2005 during the transition from SMKW.

We had a couple members ask some questions about this on our FB Page.

James Liles Is the collector club going to be revived do you know?

Harvey Leathart Will they be doing the bullet knives also?

Just to keep us in the loop here also,  I have a call into the gentleman that will be handling the Remington deals to get the answers. I am sure he will be back with me soon

  • In Memoriam

    D ale

......... @ this stage of the game .. having JUST made the "partnership" announcement .. I doubt they'll be an answer on resurrection of the Collector's Club. Not .. from the BUCK side of things .. anyway.

    .

Jan .. do you have any contacts @ Remington ? I would guess they'd be the ones to query Re: Collector Club. Never know, though. I hope you get a satisfactory answer from BUCK ..but.. doubt they control that aspect of it. Regardless .. would be good to put a "bug in their ear" .. letting them know there exists an active interest. They would certainly be in a position to pass it on to the appropriate powers that be @ Remington.
