    Hello Michael,

Welcome to the forum. It's going to be great to have you here as participating member. The knowledge and experience that you'll be able to contribute will be greatly appreciated by one and all.

All the members here are great people; we're a diverse group of collectors who all have one thing in common our love for knives.

When you have some time please post a photo of your favorite knife/knives and what publication do you subscribe to. It just maybe a publication we'd all like to start reading.

    Your new friend on iKC,

    John

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I look forward to learning and sharing knowledge with the group here on iKC. If I don’t get to answer quickly please be patient with me as I usually have many things going on at once...I will try to help with what I can.

As for my favorite Knife/knives, I’m not sure I have a definite favorite pattern or patterns. My interests are far and wide, I enjoy authentic Japanese Swords (and the crafting of), Remington Bullet Knives (the originals). I am not your typical Knife Collector though ;-)

Publications I read often include Goin's books (all of them), Levine's books (all of them) the "Red Remington" factory book as well as the Green "Bullet Knife" book and many many others. I try to regularly read Knife World also.

    Hey, Michael!

Congratulations on being a "Featured Member."

    Good show, my friend!

Hey ya'll.  Watch for a project bringing iKC and the National Knife museum closer.  Michael is getting some things set on his end and we are going to help them get the Vast and amazing library digitalized.  What that means for us as users and collectors is free access to all that material  on the web!  Talk about a great partner for research!

Watch for this to happen soon and more details soon also
