About Me
My Husband Donnie and I live in Hiawassee GA. I was Blessed to have found iKC and became the owner in October of 2012. I believe all knife collectors are created equal, no matter what type they collect. iKC brings a different direction to knife collecting in my opinion, you may not personally like something or have an issue with a particular company. But respect is a substantial aspect of what we are about. I have a strong faith and believe everyone is entitled to theirs.
Interests
History, fishing, Diving, knife collecting and about a billion other things LOL. My main interest these days is iKC and bringing the future generations into knife collecting.
Other Hobbies
there are other hobbies? OK, I found one! Watching my husband learn to build knives

Happy New Year, Miss Jan. I was wondering whatever happened to the five Multz club knives, you got from him? Are they available? Just a thought, I had about them. Please don't get stuck with them, offer them for sale. The first five to order 2013 IKC knives and so on down the list, until they sell. Your good friend Rob.

Thanks Jan.  You were on on the guys that got me here after researching the Franklin Mint Wild Life collection for a few days. You were one of the only guys who really dug into it. Check out my posting. There were actually 18 knives for that collection. I highlight the other 6 with a red box. The 12 were fron a pic I saw one of you guy post I believe. I've got them all. Thought about selling but re thinking it know after seeing how few are out there. Ugg I hate making that decision. But was looking to replace my Seecamp .32 and the CA edition is a bit pricey. Decisions decisions. Have a great day.

Jan, thanks for the likes on the Amber bone handled lockbacks. I had the parts for the skinner laid back waiting for the mood to hit to do it & I felt the Amber bone would look good so I finally worked it up. I have not been able to find this patterns parts anymore. It makes a good side knife.

Thanks Jan, If there is reincarnation, then I was a Blacksmith in previous lives. From my very earliest memories, I've been fascinated with the working of hot iron.  Edged weapons, Armor, Tools, all of those things just give me goose bumps.  I love your coffee cup.

Remember, "Blacksmiths go to hell for hammering cold iron and not charging enough".

    Regards,

    Keith

Jan, hope you made it home safe. I'm about half unpacked and loaded but we head out again Friday to the Birmingham gun and knife show. Looking forward to learning my way around on the IKC!

I liked it last night. It was very informal. Maybe a specific time for Q's would be more easy on the family.

    Hi Jan,

I haven't been able to log on for quite awhile. I moved last October and had problems with my provider. I received your emails but was not recognized by this forum. Same problem with some of the other forums as well. I hope they finally got it resolved. All is well I hope.

  • Steven Dameron

    Thanks Jan.

Hi Jan, OK - this is a crazy idea - but what about an IKC trip to Cutleries. Members could meet at a designated spot and ride together to cutleries in PA and NY or wherever. Maybe Mon-Fri to visit working cutleries. Just a thought.
