I haven't ordered the knife yet Jan I am waiting for the oak to come in stock , though the walnut does look very very nice . It maybe that these coins are very common over on that side of the pond but I had not heard of one before and as I am waiting for this particular knife , well you have to go for it .

Oh I think that will make a fine badge for a wlking stick to go with the grand portage!  What handle did you order??
