I get it Steven, they were sold to scouts, but not listed as scout knives, also sold in hardware stores, gas stations, and custom labeled for sportinggoods stores to ne sold as "humting knives"  like the Kut master you show advertised. This pattern knife was just a n inexpensive knife for anyone, kids got a lot of them probably because they were inexpensive. Either way they are still cheap and fun to collect. Here is one of mine, made by Utica privatly labeled for a store.

So, I consider Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts as children.

Not arguing, just like to see old ads, there harder to find than the knives sometimes.

I have more somewhere but can't seem to find... I like to research the heck out of knives..
I have others from 1890's - 1950's but I have to search...

The best I could find in my hard drive so far was this 1940 Ad for Remington, Kutmaster, Kinfolks Official Boy Scout Knives...

Well, I never copied and saved the Ad. I'm not going to argue about it... Whatever you say.

Steven, I wouldnt mind seeing the ad for the Hammer brand knife, I collect these so any info is fun to see.

I say childrens knives because while researching them, they seemed like they were aimed at the young Sportsmen and the small size of the handles (barely fits in the hand of any adult).
The Top one is a Utica Sportsmen's Knife.

The Top one has a black Bakelite, Middle one has a reddish brown Bakelite and the Bottom one has a Cow Bone handle...
