French hallmarks are much more difficult than English. These are fantastic Knives!!!
Hello Alexander. These are Travelling folding French fruit knives made by Grangeret of Paris in 1787 (Knife maker to Louis XV1 (until they hung Louis in the French Revolution in 1793)
They are hall marked but difficult to understand. French hall marks seem to be very complicated!
I have not had them for long and have not completed my research. I will add more in the next day or so.
WOW! Tell us more! What kind of knife is this? Who make this? Is it a historic type of knife?
