Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

This knife was brought to me by a customer who dropped it off with a note that said "refurbish and sharpen". Any one have any ideas? Note the shortest blade has been broken off and ground. When you look at the blades, none of them are as long as the knife. Lots of grime and deep corrosion. Also I cannot identify it. The tangs are way too corroded. I have to return it to the owner, so don't any of you beg me for it.

I think if it was me, I'd just go over it good with some polishing paste, sharpen it and send it on it's way. Did you ask him what he expected for "refurbishing"? Does he expect you to buff out the blades and polish them?

It has those thin celluloid handles like on an Imperial.  No way to make out the maker on the tangs.

so clean it up, re-red the letters and sharpen it if its sentimental value, thats all they want anyways....

LOL!  I wonder what he thought you could do with it?
