Oh For Bowie's Sake!

I love fixed blade knives, and at the top of the pile is the Bowie Knife. The Bowie knife can be anywhere from 6" to 22" in total length - and from a design standpoint, bigger is not always better (but they sure are more fun!). In today’s marketplace, the "Bowie" knife has become a generic term that typically means any large blade knife - regardless if it incorporates any of the recognizable and characteristic design features of a Bowie knife or not.

I don't usually get hung up on the category details, but there are a few distinctions within the Bowie class - such as Classic, Straight Back, Modern, and any combination of these. Some have clip points, some have drop points, and some are a recurve. This album showcases my Bowies in the broadest sense, where Bowie design features are recognizable.
