Old style trappers bowie test pieces
A couple of one off test pieces to see how a trapper back in teh old days might make a simple knife from materials available. Although 01 Carbon tool steel may not have been available back then.

We did yes. Hand forged. It is the scale on the forged metal part cleaned/ground off. The edge is convex/sabre ground as is the top/spine of the blade.

Stock removal?
