The magnifying glass is one on the main reasons that I bought it. To look at tang stamps of course.
Lee - your model is the newer SwissCard Lite which has both the scissors and the 4 way screwdriver plus the added mag glass and led light. It does lose the plastic toothpick and the nail file but I think it is a fair trade off to get those extra goodies on a SwissCard!
All Victorinox Swiss Cards are the same dimensions; 54mm's x 82mm's or 3 and1/4 x 2 and 1/8 inches. The card above with the Apple logo is an older discontinued model while the orange one below is the modern equivalent. Main difference is the scissors is covered by a sliding cover in the older ones while the modern ones did away with that cover as it broke fairly easily if you used it a lot. There are other configurations too, like the Swiss Card Quattro which replaces the scissors with a 4 way metal screwdriver thingy. Also there is a newer one with a mag glass and led lite too. Wayne what are the dimensions on this one? I love it!

Another thing about this Swiss Card is it is a Generation 1 example from the first year these were produced 1997. The small Victorinox shield in the lower right corner is one indicator of its age. Modern examples do not have this shield there. Just on the knife handle.
