hello Michael concerning the street beat it's a very fine knife but, in my opinion, not suitable for edc because the too thin handle. Additionally the finger groove (near the blade) is too deep and, even if I have small hand, it isn't comfortable. Despite the good blade shape, the good steel (VG10) and the good sheath (it allows two way carry: standard belt carry and neck carry as the knife is quite light), I cannot reccommend it for your purpose. Take a look to TOPS knives (they have several models and I'm sure you could find the right one) or, even if very expensive, to Wilson knives (I believe one of the best industrial knives on the market). I would need what is exactly the kind of knife you would like to carry for giving you more precise advise. Have a nice day and thanks for your question.

Helllo Gino
Considering the purchase of this Spyderco. How do you like it. Any advice regarding a fixed blade for every day carry? Looks like a great collection.
