your welcome, I have lots of knowledge on the case knives but hands on look is so much better than photo's.......but I do love the older ones and the history that goes behind them...

Thanks very much for the link. That is interesting information. I'm not a Case collector, although I have a few. A collector friend in the US gave me this knife. He lost his Father's Wostenholm penknife so I sent him one just like it and then he sent this Case in return. It is a treasure.

Hi Sue, Thanks for your comment and question. Yes, 10 dots for 1970. The pattern number is 06263 SSP. I think the SSP stands for stainless steel and polished blades.
so we can say this is a 1970( if i counted the 10 dots right) jigged bone case pattern 6279 ?
