Case is an odd company. Shown here is my Slimline Trapper in nice Antique Bone scales. If you look at the photo, you'll see a big circular cutout towards the rear of the handle. This is what Case calls the "EZ Open". It's one of the reasons that this little knife is in my collection. I find the EZ Open aspect of this knife..."odd". First, the backspring on this knife (and on most Case knives) is VERY moderate (at most). Second, if you look at the position of the EZ Open cutout...and compare it to where the nail-nick is one the blade...the two have absolutely NO spatial relation to each other. Weird.
