Thank you! This is one of the knives that were taken from boarding passagers after 9/11 at the Columbia SC Airport. I know they change thier procedures since then but at the time everyone had to give up what they carried no matter what. The Airport here held onto these until last yera in plastic bags. I bought three bags by the pound. I got 3 bags of trouble I thought until I started cleaning and sorting. I became a master cleaner. I have a '74 Russlle Barlow Case 53047 Stag XX, 5347D First Alabama Damasus blade issue and a 6347 redbone that all came out of those lots. Not to mention a bunch of Old Timers, Swiss Army little knives and a host of others. I have a Ulster Old Timer! Ulster was the first company contracted to manifacture the OT. Several Boker knives, Roberson and other small carry knives (a # 22 Camillus) I was lucky - I have not put those up in the posting yet but I will. Sadly I as many good knives that were run over by a forktruck and waisted... no good even for parts.
Odly, there we no small Case knives but this one and I think the guards snuck those away. this one has no shield so they would have missed it.
Thanks
Frank
