Volgende maand één in Wageningen.

The wood was imported from France. I think it was heat-treated and stabilised Beech or Plane wood.

The Scales on that Danag are really nice. Is that from a local wood?

All Citadel's in my photo folder are actually hand forged/made knives from Cambodia.

I am from Holland and live in Phnom Penh and these knives are the knives that got me interested in knives the at the first place. The price is really affordable for a custom handmade knife! Way cheaper than a custom made Buck knife. I have visited their workshop and custom ordered some of my knives according to my own wishes. Some of their latest models use the N690co steel, which is imported from Europe (as all steel is, since steel in Cambodia is inferior quality)

Citadel is started by Dominique Eluere, see:

Erik-welcome to the Buck Group. What's the story on your citadel Danang? Is that a Buck or another mfg.? Interesting looking knife. Although I finally bought a Randall Model 5 which I truly love, I'll always be a "Buck Man" at heart and I own several models. For the money, you just can't beat 'em & they're dang  near indestructable.
