The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
I borrowed this Hawk-bill folder from a friend with the purpose of researching its origin. As you can see from the photo below, the blade is hammer-stamped with the name: LUBIN. As far as I'm able to tell this knife-tool may have historical significance. It's obviously handmade and based on what I've read, made in California in the late 1800's. If anyone could shed some light on this, I'd appreciate it. I'm also wondering what this blade may be worth. Tnanks
