I've had an interest in knives since a child.  My father always carried a knife.  My first one was a Cub Scout knife when I was about 8.  I remember discovering the Buck 110 when I as about 14.  Since then it has been a gradual evolution from strictly utilitarian knives to hand made art knives.  I got seriously interested in collecting about 20 years ago.

Wow! I just cruised thru some of your photos and I have to tell you that I am green with envy! You have a spectacular collection...And that's putting it mildly! How long have you been collecting knives? It looks like you hit the grand prize in the knife lottery!

That's a Pendleton blanket, the Turtle design represents the Iroquois legend that the world was created on the shell of the Great Turtle.  My brother gave me the chipped flint knife, it has very unusual coloration.  Couple of Ron Gaston fighters below it.

I see some nice lookin' knives on top of that very colorful blanket! That stag handled chip-flint in the upper right looks mighty interesting! Gnarly looking handle, fersure!
