Thanks for the kind words. I've always enjoyed this knife, it is special! The filework on the back of the spring is also done on the inside of the spring too. It's hard to get a good pic of that though...

Ron: Herman did the work for a most reasonable consideration- he's the best in the business, so the price was never an issue. This was done about 7 years ago, so I don't remember exactly how long it took him to do it.

I've seen many Schrade knives that were re-handled by Mr. Williams. I don't recall ever seeing a Case knife that he had worked on. Yours is the first for me. He sure does do some nice work! I hope he did yours for a reasonable consideration? How long did it take to get the work done, from start to finish? And I'm talking about starting the clock from the first time you contacted him until the work was completed and the knife was back in your hands.
