I think you may have solved the riddle of who made Michael's knives? Those hammer forged blades certainly do bear a striking resemblance. So do his sheaths!

Boy, ya got me stumped on these. I don't recognize the letters "GAM" as being a maker that I'm familiar with. I'm going to make the assumption that those letters are the maker's initials? But, like I said, I don't recognize them. Perhaps one of our other members will step forward with some useful information, Michael?

In the meantime, perhaps you can give us the backstory on where these knives came from? Even a geographical area might help us to pinpoint who made them. As Steve has already suggested.

Besides, I'm curious because they all look like some very well made, well used, implements that served someone well in their intended purpose. Possibly a butcher?
