Actually Jan ... a wire knife (other than those used in the trades) is a term that is unfamiliar to me. AG Russell calls it a Funny Folder .... so sticking with that! I have seen these on the Russell site a number of times and never gave them a nanosecond of thought. However, when I saw this one all engraved and anodized .... I couldn't pass it up. Chip put in around 20 hours work bead blasting the Ti handle, engraving and anodizing the thing. For what he was asking for it .... well, as I told him, he was working for less than minimum wage!!

It is not often you see a wire knife that has been customized. Come to think of it i have never seen one but while looking at this one I think it is a GREAT idea! A funny folder indeed and I appreciate your sharing it with us
But what is a “Funny Folder”? It’s a small folder (3” closed with a 2.25” VG10 blade). To open, the inner section of the handle (the part that is engraved) pivots out and then swings away from the blade back down over the handle. Kind of neat …. but for me …. I just really liked the engraving and anodizing work!!!
