Jan .. should you wish to re-etch the blade blank before final assembly ..   Ferric Chloride is readily available from RadShack.

Way to go, Jan. I bet I went by the Jantz knife supply store about 10 times this last weekend and I didn't stop and look around. Debra probably would have used one of my knives to skin me if I had, since this was a family time.
