The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
I just picked up this buck 484 at academy for $16 and I wanted to attempted a first impressions/review post. So here we go..
Blade shape: drop point
Blade length: 2 3/4
Handle: injected-molded
Manufacturing county: USA
Lock: lock back
Pocket clip: tip up carry (non adjustable)
Pros:
Great American made EDC knife from a great company
Good price
Lifetime warranty
Cons:
Put together with pins instead of torque screws (so the entire knife is non adjustable)
Only tips down Carry
Overall I think this I a great knife at a great value, I also think this knife is prefect EDC because it has a good non threatening blade length, so you can whip it out in public (for open something, ect) with out alarming someone. Hope you enjoy, thanks

Nice knife
Tristan,
Hey Thanks for the thoughts on this one. The Buck lite is the same knife I sent to my nephew when he needed a pock knife for work. For a number of the same reasons, I might add. I however think that pins are a pro not a con. Pins dont back out and remain consistent through out the life of the knife in my opinion. I do not want to have to continually adjust my knife. Just my feelings
