I like the Farmall's. I have a 1966 cub that I show every year at a local tractor show. The show is coming up this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  I will post a pic in a minute.

Hi Ken.  First, the red color tells you it was probable an International Harvester or,, in the day, a Farmall.  The front wheels being close together gives you a general date to go by, the danger days before the 50's when they started to separate the front wheels to help prevent the tractors from tipping over.  And generally, you know that one of Farmall's most popular tractors was the F-12 or F-14 except the F-12 had a steering rod that ran parallel and the F-14 had a steering rod that ran at an angle.  The later F-12's had a 3-spoke steering wheel so this was probably an early F-12.  Not too early though because F-12's were made for a long time and the really early F-12's did not have tires, just steel wheels. This was probably just after WWII.  They were mass produced as soldiers were returning from the war and taking back their farms.  I'm sure it served it's owner well and is well-deserving of the little place of honor that has been built for it.  (Sorry, I'm still a farm girl at heart and I love my John Deere's.)
