I love this photo! As a young boy, 60 years ago, these Swallowtails could be observed gracefully enhancing my parents yard, flittering and fluttering throughout our neighborhood. Swallowtails as well as Monarchs! Nowadays, thanks to DDT and a veritable cornucopia of other pesticides that have been used throughout the years, they are rarely seen. But I 'spose that's a rant best saved for another day, however?
