Here is a beautiful Moki Aiora from around 1994. And, I mean beautiful for a 30-yr-old knife!! These were the days when Moki was using ATS-34 for the blades on their higher end knives. What really dropped my jaw was when I saw that back in 1994, this knife retailed for $389. Yikes!!

Thanks Kevin.  Really lucked out with this one.  It was listed as a Leaf model.  Knew immediately that it wasn't, as I bought my daughter a Leaf a decade or so ago.  Grabbed it as quickly as I could.

Yep!

You called it when you said I would like this one!  As near a flawless juxtaposition of functionality and art as you are likely to find.  I remember drooling over these back in the day a bit, but could not begin to think about affording one.  I did meet Koji Hara once at a knife show in Winston Salem though!  I so wanted to find a way to acquire one of his knives too.  That never happened either.  

Man, is that a beautiful knife.  Thank you for sharing!!
