Thanks for your response and for providing some great details about these knives, Rhamer!

The actual collection of authentic Civil War knives owned by Mr. Wm. Wright must be amazing!

Hi Ron, first thanks for all your comments i have to mention that i feel very honored to have one of my knives featured here in Iknife, i am very happy to joined you guys, thank you so much. Regarding the value i have seen these folding knives between 116$ to 180$. These series of 12 knives were ordered to made by James Parker between 1981 and 1986 they are replicas of a big civil war collection owned by Mr. William Wright a friend of Mr. Parker, all of the knives were made in Japan by master cutler Futaka, they used Surgical Steel blades, a limited issued of 1200 each and each knife is serial numbered. This particular knive is 11 1/4 inches open and 6 3/8 inches closed, the handle material is second cut stag, the knives were made as close as possible to the original to maintain historical integrity, they are very well constructed, not loose blades, very firmly, very heavy, nice materials, they are really sharp, a couple of cuts myself trying to clean it, lol. I hope this help Ron.

That's a BIG folder, fersure!

Rhamer, what's the quality like on this gigantic Parker Coffin Handled folder? The reason I ask is because a couple of years back I was bidding on one that was being auctioned on fleabay. Since I was unsure of the overall fit n' finish on these knives? I held back and consequently conceded the auction to another bidder who was pursuing this knife a little more enthusiastically that myself. I'm *sure* that he got it for a price far less that its actual value -- I think? lol
