-regardless i like the type of cel-THE HANDLES DO ROCK!!!!_l on this knife and always have ..swirld or straight... ...anyway when it comes to celluloid names again every company had a different name and some companies just called it CELLULOID HANDLE and you got whichever color showed up in the mail !!....LOL... also DALE knows his schrade very well. we havent chatted much scott but i know ya more from AAPK...and your blog!
I have no clue Peter! I bought it because the handles were cool. Dale Vincent a fellow knife and huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge Schrade fan described it as butter and molasses!

i was wondering..and its only from lots of reading and diferent companies and so forh but i thought this pattern celluloid when straight lines like this ws called ROOT BEER. and Butter Molasses was when itt was the same colors but swirled....STEEL SALUTE!..-peter .. ps- i owna few of both and i have heaard it called both.
