Ok this is the Pandayan P1 , midtech Balisong.

it has a good feel to it when i flipped it a little, &. i can do my emergency opening no problem. which  is a forward latch opening i think it's technically called.

I cleaned it up to include the larger holes. if u looked at the holes they were dark and most would think quite normal, but a cotton swab removed all the dirt and grime that you could not really see lol.

it is channel construction and i cleaned the channels too, as best i could. it was not easy because on the inside of the channels where the holes are there were several burs that were left unfinished. Frankly that really pissed me off too, because it is a really nice knife. were it my company i would just charge the customer for a completely finished knife, so they would not have to get it modded.  and deal with additional shipping etc. etc.

So now i have to send it off to smooth those out & also to sharpen the edge more. it is sharp, but not as sharp as it should be or even close to it imho.

i also would like to get a spring latch done for this if possible. but the latch is pinned so the mod person will tel me yes he can or nope.

I'm still learning all the technical jargon surrounding balisongs and how to identify the various models and 411 on fakes too. Some that i have will go up for sale eventually, and though i like them and they are both unique and purdy too . they act as a way to get $$ if i need it for something that is not in my budget at that time. most will be offered at the price I  payed for them or only slightly higher for one offs.
