Test piece of "sticky pine" from Andy. Idea came from a carving site and the wood came at the right time. Cut down an old carving blade and pinned with brass pins. The hat pin is 2 7/16", with a 7/8" blade.

Unique indeed. A fellow can't help to admire the beauty of old wood. Very nicely done . Small and lightweight. I bet that blade would work very well skinning a deer.

I really like the knife pin, and the idea in general. What a cool way to make a statement about knives and carving. The sticky pine really does look good. Very fine.
