Welcome Home

My second Todd Davison arrived today. When I saw those oosik covers, I could not resist. There is just something unmistakable about oosik. This one is a little smaller and thinner than my stag ... sporting a 2.5" CPM 154 blade. Actually, this is the size I prefer in a slipjoint.

Darn it!  he should have used your knife at least at the end!

Yes ... I think I see a few more Davison's in my future!  He recently made one with a spear blade and eye popping spalted sycamore covers.  Unfortunately, it was a hair large for me.  Oh well ... am sure I will eventually be able to add some nice wood models to the collection.  In the meantime ... this one will see plenty of pocket time!!

Oh ... did have my stitches taken out on Thursday.  I offered him one of my knives to do the job.  He refused, and insisted on using scissors!

Thanks for all the nice comments.  I had a skin biopsy done right after I received this one.  Took it with me for the appointment.  As the doc was getting ready, I pulled it out and told him that I brought it just in case he could not find a scalpel sharp enough!!  Go back tomorrow to get the stitches out .... will bring another knife ... again, just in case!!!
