The second book I own from the Harold L. Peterson, this book – particularly the ninth printing, is an excellent overview of all the various types of swords worn by the uniform forces of the United States. The first 287 pages’ covers swords from 1775 to 1945, followed by a bonus 60 pages titled American Silver Mounted Swords 1700-1815.
