Just sharpened .. removed the paint from behind the cutting edge & relieved some of the material 1/2 ~ 3/4 " back from the cutting edge .. to reduce sticking when it takes a good bite.

I've got to get a lil further in the woods than my back yard to really test. i.e. get to some Osage Orange. Makes pretty scale matl .. hard enough to be both durable & mildly difficult to wk with.
